How can
Christian parents cope with the education of their children in relation to all
the Creation issues around today?
What do they need themselves, BEFORE tackling the
issues raised by their children?
- Total conviction that the bible is the Word of God, with not a single mistake in the original
inspired versions.
- A clear understanding that all human history is covered in the
bible, up to the time of the
- A firm belief that no true scientific facts can ever contradict the
Scriptures; the Author of both is the same.
- A deep willingness to read Creation books, view Creation DVDs,
videos and films, and attend Creation conferences so that they can answer
questions, and appreciate their children’s interests.
- Readiness to visit the countryside, zoos, and biblical theme parks
so that an appreciation of God’s work in Creation is developed in their
family.

from apes in the trees!"
Well,
what do you do when confronted with this delightful introduction to the evening
meal? The majority of Christian parents are faced with numerous questions from
their children as they grow up; ideas about dinosaurs are introduced to them at
an early age, while many subjects
in their teenage years positively overwhelm them and they are finally
mesmerised by evolution presented as a fact before they go to college or
university. Can anything be done for this large group of the Christian parents?
Need they flounder and put off the inevitable hour when they are faced with
Biblical Inerrancy and have to admit that they are not too sure about things?
No. The situation is only desperate when it's swept under the carpet!
Resources
are increasing monthly from several directions. Take heart, God is not leaving
you helpless in a barren intellectual desert, without guidance, without
heart-warming proof of the impossibility of the evolutionary dogma! Commit the
whole matter to Him, devote a few hours to regular study and find the
tremendous strengthening that Biblical Creation Science provides for your faith
in the Creator Himself, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Where
do you start? Well, when did you last
read the first eleven chapters of Genesis right through? Any doubts? Does Psalm
119.160 challenge you?

Please pray for the help of the Holy Spirit in remembering
the basic facts so that you can give an intelligent answer the next time little
Jack or Jessica asks a stunning question. How many preachers have proved God’s
immediate aid in bringing facts instantly to the mind just when needed while,
at the same moment, removing unnecessary information that would have burdened
the memory?
Perhaps
you want to blame a lonely Christian teacher in their school; some think that
the Pastor should organise more teaching in the church, while others hope that
the children will just grow out of it and forget the lie that has been
implanted in their minds. You are the parent and your child trusts you to provide
sensible answers every time. You will never regret taking the time to show them
that these questions are really important!
How's
the family library of Creation books? Are you serious in saying that you
haven't got any at all that they could read? The Creation Science Movement
(UK), the Institute for Creation Research (
Thousands
of kids watch DVDs or videos before they go to sleep at night: you can borrow
them from Christian libraries at minimum cost: get them interested in the true
facts about dinosaurs, disillusion them about Adam being an ape-man. Do they
know what really happened when the Flood came and the

they read a Creation children's paper? Well, OUR WORLD
(published
by Creation Resources Trust) is splendid stuff for youngsters
and they can lend them to their friends at school - the thin end of the wedge of
evangelism? If they are in their teens, try CRT's ORIGINAL VIEW.
We can all do our little bit in spreading "The truth as
it is in Jesus"! That's got them going, you say, but, wait a bit, there's
more for you to do: ever shown them a Creation video at a birthday party? Yes,
you could also drop a few hints to grandma or grandpa about Creation books for
presents. Some dinosaur models would go down well, and try putting a little
woolly mammoth in ice in the fridge and introduce the idea of fossils and how
they are preserved.
"Must I really
concentrate on Creation with my kids?" you ask. Well, if you don't, an
Enemy will and little will you be aware of what is pumped into them in the
classroom in their teens. His evil objective is simply to get their minds to
accept a lie as a fact, and there are plenty of subjects where it can be woven
in quite innocently. Your children might come
home from school one day and inform you that evolutionary indoctrination took
place in three lessons that day, but they are far more likely to remember the
explosion during chemistry or why Amy's cake looked like the vent of a volcano
at the end of the cookery class!
Your
work is cut out but one thing has priority: your daily intercession for that
young life is what God longs to hear; He will answer:
